The Redmi 13 5G smartphone is launched today in India. This is the first Redmi phone to come with Xiaomi HyperOS. Made with a crystal glass design, this phone gives a premium look at a budget price.
In terms of design, the Redmi 13 5G is similar to the Redmi 12 5G. It has a 6.79-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The company said that this is the phone coming with dual glass design in this segment. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE processor. It packs a 5030 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, 108 MP main camera. There is a 13MP camera for selfies.
The special feature of this phone is the ring flash next to the camera. It is noteworthy that it flashes not only when taking a photo but also during calls and notifications. Available in Hawaiian Blue, Orchid Pink and Black Diamond colors.
A charger is also given along with the phone. It comes with Android 14 based HyperOS. The company said that it will provide security updates for two OS and up to four years.
Redmi 13 5G is available in two variants. 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage is priced at ₹12,999, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage is priced at ₹14,999. The storage can be expanded up to 1TB with a microSD card. The phone will be available for sale on the company’s online and offline stores as well as on Amazon from 12 noon on July 12.
