As lot of people expecting, Sreeram won the Indian Idol 5. Sreeramchandra, a hyderabadi, is the winner of the mega Indian reality show “Indian Idol 5” and awarded by the Bollywood megastar, Amitabh Bacchan.
Being chosen by the people all over from India through SMS as the winner, Sreeram gets Rs.50 lakhs cash as prize money along with a Tata Winger car, a chance to sing in Yash Raj Films, and one-year contract with Sony BMG.

24-years old Sreeramchandra is a professional singer who lives with his family in Secunderabad. His father is a High Court advocate while his mother is a housewife.
Sreeramchandra started singing during his school days, but began his professional training in singing in the first year of his college. He is a complete music enthusiast and has performed in various music shows including playback singing for few Telegu movies.
His hobbies include sports such as football & basketball, music such as singing and playing guitar. He auditioned for Indian Idol 5 as he feels he has all the qualities to be India’s next big singing sensation.
